“To hang by attachment to something above”
“To hold; refrain from forming or concluding definitely”
This abstract series titled ‘Suspend’ explores the artist’s personal journey through a variety of themes including life, death, healing and faith. Ink and watercolor merge alongside touches of gold in organic forms suspended on the paper.
The unpredictable and fluid nature of her process reflects these themes of life’s unknown; the practice and challenge of a ‘continual becoming’ takes place through the ink and water in a snapshot of a miniature world.
